“While I am still somewhat of a ‘new kid’ at the show, I get to learn from longtime Expo veterans and Pioneer DJ demonstrators like Jay Brannan and Larry D who've helped guide me in what the show is all about. It's also one of the few moments in the year to connect with press and social-media influencers like DJ Cova from Tweak Music Tips, Cleveland Terry, Nick Spinelli, and Brian S Redd. I even saw Rachel Lynch and DJ Barr walking around, collecting content showcasing the exhibits. DJX has been the center of not just growing your DJ business, but even showing that having a presence online is just as important in growing that business. For those of us who are active in the social-media space, this event is a chance for us to actually see and meet in-person.

DJX is also a chance for people to try out DJ gear and equipment for the first time, up-close and personal. We know, at Pioneer DJ, how important it is for working DJs to be able to deep dive into gear up-close before making their purchases. DJX gives brands like ours not only a way for DJs to mix and scratch on our gear, but allows the product demonstrators, like us, to answer any questions folks may have. Our booth gets visited by all sorts of DJs – from DMC champions to huge multi-operation company owners. DJX gives us an opportunity for us to hear all the voices, from beginners to professionals, and everyone in between.

At this recent show in 2022, I noticed amazing moments. There was a young boy who comes to our booth every year, and you can tell he loves DJing. He even got a little better at scratching as the years progressed. We got to see his dad surprise him with a brand new DDJ-REV7! He was so full of joy and appreciative of his surprise!

We also got to witness the world record for the longest DJ carousel broken on the main stage. Also, did anyone see that backflip DJ Cue did during his performance with the timecode record in his hand, actively scratching?

Thanks to the valuable seminars, workshops, and exhibits, there is something for every type of DJ at DJX!”
