Howard “HK” Kessler of “In the Mix with HK” on Why He Attends DJX

Howard Kessler, the host of “In the Mix with HK” syndicated radio show and former A&R at Tommy Boy Records, discusses his DJX experience with us.

He starts by saying that you can find “anything and everything” in the DJ community present at the show. He discusses the networking opportunities to be had, stating that you will find club DJs, mobile DJs, radio jocks – everyone in the DJ life. He also talks about the benefit of learning about the latest gear and new techniques.

Kessler goes on to discuss his experience presenting a keynote at DJX. He says that his audience was made up of DJs across DJ communities and walks of life. He says that he hopes “they managed to walk out with a little something they didn’t know when they came in”.
