Unity & Community: Legends Come Together to Celebrate

During the season of giving, we tend to reflect more often on things that we are thankful for. Whether it may be things that bring joy to us or us bringing joy to others, we find ourselves being appreciative and expressing gratitude, even more so than the rest of the year. 

Among the many events we attended this year and during this holiday season, the legendary Rock and Soul holiday party took place on Dec. 26 at the DJ equipment and record shop. The holiday party was also broadcasted live, with performances by Scram Jones, Tony Touch, Ralph McDaniels, Large Professor, Statik Selektah, Frankie Cutlass, DJ Spinna, Mista Sinista, DJ Precision, Roli Rho, DJ Spictakular, DJ Fame, K-Def, DooWop, Pretty Lou, Evil Dee, DJ Clear, Mell Starr, SONI withanEYE, Suss One, Ace the Cut Luitenant, DJ Kaos, As-One, Eddie B Swift, C-Lo, Grandmaster Caz, Grand Wizard Theodore, Grandmaster Supreme, Johnny Juice, DJ Fatfingaz, DJ Wiz of Kid "N Play, DJ Doodles, DJ Alizay, Technician the DJ, and so many more. 

There’s a beauty in seeing so many legends coming together to celebrate music and respect each other’s talent. The opportunity to see and meet potential attendees, keynotes and speakers at events of this nature are part of what makes our community so tight-knit and unified. 

Not only did DJX Show offer a pair of All-Access passes to give away during Rock & Soul’s famous holiday party, many of those in attendance expressed excitement and anticipation for the upcoming DJX ’24. Knowing that Hazan Media Group (HMG) and its team are accessible to answer questions, open to feedback about initiatives, and eager to hear about idea generation directly from the market — it’s important that the industry knows we are supportive, listening and are committed to being present by doing so. The impact that networking and relationship building that comes from in-person gatherings is so important, and we are grateful to be able to be a part of them.
