Breaking New Ground: Women DJs to Take Center Stage for DJX 35th Anniversary
DJX celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2025, continuing its tradition of pushing boundaries and championing diversity in DJ culture.
The response has been nothing short of electric! When we put out the call for women DJs to participate in next year's landmark DJX Show, we weren't just looking for performers – we were looking for pioneers, innovators, and game-changers. The overwhelming enthusiasm from female DJs has proven what we've always known: the future of music is diverse, dynamic, and revolutionary.
A Wave of Talent
The emails we received showcased an incredible range of expertise. From veterans of vinyl to rising digital stars, the talent pool represents a variety of DJs that have all stepped forward, ready to share their unique perspectives and skills.
More Than Just Music
What stands out in many submissions is the stories behind the music. These are artists who have carved their own paths in an industry that hasn't always made space for them. They're mentors, studio owners, label founders, and community builders who understand that success means lifting others as you climb.
Looking Forward: DJX at 35
As we celebrate 35 years of DJX, we're honored to provide a platform that reflects the true face of today's DJ culture. This year's installment won't just be a celebration of where we've been – it will be a bold statement about where we're going. The selected artists will lead workshops, participate in panel discussions, and, of course, deliver unforgettable performances that will set the tone for the next generation.
Save the date, as DJX returns to Atlantic City from Aug. 11-14, 2025. Stay tuned for more announcements and additional information as we near closer towards the ’25 edition of DJX. The energy is building, and next year's DJX promises to be a milestone event that celebrates not just 35 years of history, but the bright, inclusive future of DJ culture.
To all who emailed us: your passion, creativity, and dedication inspire us. Together, we're not just making music – we're making history!
